PRODUCT STATUS: Custom-engineered / project configuration
1. Product Introduction & Positioning |
Columus LED800AP is a custom-engineered low-noise LED inflatable light tower in the AP Advance Pro family. It uses a sealed-air structure with distributed LED modules or strips integrated into the lighting envelope, eliminating continuous inflation-blower noise during normal operation while supporting premium color quality and advanced controls.
Series positioning: AP - Advance Pro (Premium / low-noise custom-engineered). The tower uses multi-layer sealed inner air cell plus protective/diffusing outer envelope; material stack is project-engineered and is intended for film and broadcast support, premium event perimeters, acoustically sensitive locations, exhibitions, ceremonies and specialist custom projects. This model should be selected from required illuminance, work-zone size, tower height, power source, restart behavior, color/flicker needs and environmental conditions rather than lamp wattage alone.
Model note: LED layout may use distributed strips/modules inside the sealed-air / outer-envelope structure; final thermal and photometric design is project-specific.

4. Lighting Performance & Application Boundary |
For project planning, LED800AP is estimated to provide a maximum low-level illumination footprint of approximately 10,500 m² at the 1-lux boundary and approximately 2,100 m² at 10 lux. For general orientation, emergency staging and broad work-zone lighting, a more practical 10-20 lux planning range is approximately 1,050-2,100 m². Applications requiring 50-100 lux or more will cover a much smaller area and should be checked with a project-specific lux layout.
Application boundary: Custom-engineered premium solution; not intended as the lowest-cost mass-market option.
Recommended Applications
· Film/broadcast support areas
· Premium event and ceremony zones
· Exhibitions and acoustically sensitive projects
· Special custom temporary lighting
Representative Application Cases
Case 1. Quiet premium event support: broad diffused illumination around ceremony, hospitality or exhibition areas without continuous inflation-blower noise.
Case 2. Film / broadcast support zone: low-flicker, high-CRI LED illumination for technical areas, backlots and support spaces.
Case 3. Special custom installation: temporary lighting where noise, visual integration and advanced control are more important than lowest purchase price.
Cases above are representative application scenarios for positioning and selection. They are not claims of a named customer installation unless supported by a separately approved project reference.
5. Customer Value & Selection Guidance |
· No continuous blower noise during normal operation
· Premium CRI / low-flicker design path
· Advanced control integration
· Custom visual and acoustic engineering
Choose LED800AP when its low-noise led behavior, 800 W output class and AP series positioning match the project priorities. If the customer needs different restart behavior, control sophistication, budget level or tower material, compare related Columus models rather than increasing wattage alone.
6. Customization & OEM/ODM Options |
· Tower height: 2.0 / 2.5 / 3.0 / 4.0 / 5.0 m project options; 3.0 m and 4.0 m are the most common family configurations.
· Envelope color, logo printing and project identification graphics, subject to material and print-process suitability.
· Input voltage, plug type, cable length, connector arrangement and generator interface for the target market.
· Light-source package: 3200 K / 4000 K / 5600 K planning options; other CCT by project; color rendering options follow the selected lamp/LED package.
· Protective transport packaging: reinforced export carton, plywood case or reusable flight case depending on project and shipping mode.
· Guy ropes, pegs, sandbags/ballast points, spare envelope, spare electrical parts and extension cables can be supplied as project accessories.
· Distributed LED geometry, sealed-air cell construction, outer diffusing envelope, low-noise thermal strategy and control protocol are custom-engineered.
Customization is subject to engineering review, component availability, certification scope and final quotation. Drawings, control architecture, logo artwork and special packing may require approval before production.
7. Product Size, Packing & Shipping | |
Non-working / collapsed product size | 58 x 46 x 45 cm |
Working size | Approx. 40 x 40 x selected tower height; reference 4 m working size approx. 40 x 40 x 400 cm |
Reference export packing size | 68 x 56 x 56 cm |
Reference net weight | 41-47 kg |
Reference packed weight | 55-63 kg |
Standard protective packing | Protective internal foam/wrapping plus reinforced export packing. Professional orders may use plywood or reusable flight case. |
Optional split packing | Large ballast/driver or high-power light head may be packed as a separate electrical case to improve handling and protect components. |
Packing dimensions and weight are logistics planning references only. Final packing size, number of packages, net/gross weight and case type must be reconfirmed before shipment because tower height, ballast/driver, lamp head, cable length, battery option and accessories can change the final package.

10. FAQ |
Which tower height should I choose?
The family supports 2.0-5.0 m project heights. For LED800AP, the normal recommendation is 3.0-4.0 m. Final height should be selected from required lux, coverage, wind exposure and transport limits.
How large an area can it illuminate?
The planning reference is up to about 10,500 m² at the very low 1-lux boundary and about 2,100 m² at 10 lux. A more practical 10-20 lux working-zone planning range is about 1,050-2,100 m². Higher task-light levels reduce the effective area substantially.
Can it run from batteries?
Not as the standard recommendation. AC mains or generator power is normally preferred at this power level.
Is the light flicker-free?
Professional low-flicker driver is recommended; camera/high-speed requirement must be stated at enquiry stage
Can CCT and CRI be customized?
3200 K / 4000 K / 5600 K planning options; other CCT by project. Ra >=90 preferred planning basis for premium AP projects; higher color-quality packages by project Final availability depends on the selected lamp/LED package.
Is it waterproof and wind resistant?
The system is designed for outdoor temporary use, but the exact IP declaration and permitted wind speed must be confirmed for the approved electrical package, tower height, base and guy-line/anchoring method. Do not treat a legacy value as universal across all 2026 models.
Can our logo be printed on the tower?
Yes. Logo, project identity and selected graphics can be applied to compatible envelope materials. Artwork and print area are confirmed before production.
What are the warranty and lead time?
Reference warranty is 12 months against manufacturing defects from shipment, subject to final quotation/sales contract and exclusions for consumables, lamps, batteries and misuse. Typically 20-35 working days after final technical approval; complex custom engineering or first-article work may require a project-specific schedule.
