Envelope & Construction
· Air-tight structural design using specially treated lightweight fabric.
· Legacy literature emphasizes helium retention, light transmission, anti-UV/anti-yellowing, hydrolysis resistance and water-repellent characteristics.
· Large envelopes can be helium-filled for overhead float or air-filled for rigging; exact outdoor/wind limitations require project engineering.
Classic Light Sources
· HMI/Daylight: approximately 5600 K; legacy lamp references include 575 W, 1200 W, 2500 W and 4000 W classes.
· Tungsten: approximately 2900-3200 K; legacy configurations use multiple 650 W, 1000 W, 2000 W and 5000 W classes.
· Hybrid: combines HMI and Tungsten channels in one balloon.
Ballast Architecture
Legacy Artemis documentation describes daylight versions designed around professional flicker-free electronic ballasts, with connector arrangements supporting multiple lamp combinations. Current ballast make/model, frequency mode, connector and cable set must be selected against the actual lamps and market voltage.
Applications
· Film sets and scenes
· TV/broadcast studios
· Photographic studios
· Event scenes integrated with film/TV production
· Entertainment and special projects
