Arcti Commercial for Shopping Malls, Retail Flagships and Seasonal Campaigns
A reusable luminous campaign platform that can turn atriums and storefronts into destinations while keeping installation, storage and future refreshes commercially manageable.
The Application Challenge
Retail campaigns must open on a fixed date, look consistent in person and on social media, operate through long trading hours and be maintained without disrupting customers. Seasonal décor also faces a difficult economics problem: a large visual investment may be used for only a few weeks before it is stored or discarded.
The Arcti Commercial Solution Approach
Design the installation as a kit of parts. A reusable core of light modules, inflation hardware, suspension and controls supports campaign-specific skins, colours and graphic elements. The mall atrium receives one coherent composition while satellite storefront or corridor modules repeat the same visual language. Installation drawings, labels and pre-addressed controls reduce overnight improvisation.
Recommended Design Priorities
· Campaign calendar: freeze concept, engineering, artwork, sample approval, production, freight and installation milestones backward from opening day.
· Public-hours operation: define automatic start/stop, brightness, fault response and who can access controls.
· Brand fidelity: approve colour under the actual LED spectrum and define print scale for both close view and upper-floor viewpoints.
· Maintenance route: ensure drivers, blowers, access zips and suspension hardware can be reached without closing a major customer path.
· Afterlife: decide which components are retained, re-skinned, reconfigured, sold to another property or recycled.
Representative Case Configuration
Illustrative case: national mall campaign “Cloud of Gifts”. The values below communicate scale, interfaces and customer value. They are illustrative planning values, not a completed-project claim or substitute for an approved engineering sheet.
Parameter | Representative planning value |
Flagship site | 32 × 24 m atrium; four public levels |
Illustrative package | 1 × 8 m clustered centerpiece + 24 × 1.0 m satellite objects |
Lighting | Centerpiece RGB+W 900–1200 W; satellites 35–50 W each |
Control | Daily schedule; branded colour scenes; static safe mode during cleaning |
Rollout | One flagship kit plus standardized satellite kits for six regional malls |
Customer value | A consistent campaign language with reusable technical assets and lower future re-skin cost |
Customer Value Delivered
· Turns the atrium into a visit-worthy campaign moment rather than a collection of disconnected props.
· Improves replication across properties through controlled modules and artwork.
· Protects budget by retaining lighting, controls, suspension and selected forms for future campaigns.
· Reduces installation risk through pre-numbered parts and a documented overnight sequence.
From Concept to Deployment
1. Freeze campaign intent, everyday state, site list, dates and expected future reuse.
2. Standardize core modules, artwork, light scenes, mounts and service parts.
3. Approve property coordination, public-hour operation, maintenance and rollout pack.
4. Pilot at the flagship or sample scale before multi-site production.
5. Track assets, clean, store and plan re-skinning after the campaign.
Customization Options
· Logo, pattern, character, product silhouette or abstract campaign geometry.
· Brand-colour matching through material samples, LED tests and approved print references.
· Replaceable outer covers over a common structural form where the geometry allows.
· Portfolio package including site survey template, installation manual, spare ratio and asset register.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can one design be used in malls with different ceiling heights?
Yes, through a modular hierarchy and site-specific suspension lengths, but every venue still requires a rigging and clearance review.
Can the campaign colours be guaranteed from a screen reference?
Screen colour is not sufficient. Material, printing, internal light and ambient light affect appearance, so physical sampling and approval are recommended.
How much of the system can be reused?
That depends on the geometry and campaign concept. Core lighting, controls, air equipment and suspension are often reusable; branded skins may be replaced.
