Series Introduction

Arcti Outdoor is developed for public plazas, light festivals, parks, facades and civic landscapes where scale must be matched by a credible operating plan. Outdoor suitability is not reduced to a waterproof label. The project must define site exposure, anchoring, wind actions, drainage, electrical protection, supervision, public interface and the procedure for changing weather.

Within the Arcti portfolio, OD is the choice when the artwork is exposed to the public realm and weather. A sheltered atrium may be better served by IT or COM, while an infrastructure-owned landmark with industrial environmental demands may move to IND.
